Curry Hummus

Description :

Ace Curries own version of this very popular recipe. Chickpea and Spices make this a very healthy and satisfying snack.

Ingredients :

  • Channa Masala / Chickpea Curry Spice
  • Tomato Chutney
  • Mango Pineapple Dip / Chutney
  • 5 tsp. Ace Curries’ Channa Masala Spice mix
  • 2 cans Chickpeas( drained & rinsed)
  • Fresh Garlic 5 cloves
  • 6tbs Olive Oil
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers (deseeded)
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 to 6 tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • Cilantro Leaves (optional)
  • For serving
  • Naan Bread
  • Ace Curries’ Tomato Chutney & Mango Pineapple Dip

Method :

    Steps to make Curry Hummus
  1. In a frying pan, heat 3 tbsp. olive oil. Add in the garlic & spice and cook it for 1 minute till brown.
  2. Add in 1/8 cup water and allow it to simmer. Add in the chickpeas and jalapenos.
  3. Cook till almost dry.
  4. Take it off the flame.
  5. Add all ingredients from the frying pan into a blender. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, cilantro leaves & salt and blend till smooth.
  6. Add in 3 tbsp. sour cream and mix in well (OPTIONAL).
  7. Serve with Naan Bread and Ace Tomato Chutney & Mango Pineapple Dip.
  8. Use it as a Spread on a Sandwich or just a chip Dip.
