Channa Masala / Chickpea Curry

A Indian Curry that is a staple in most Indian households. eaten as a meal or as a side dish. This is Vegan, Gluten free with a fantastic flavor.

Ingredients :

  • Channa Masala / Chickpea Curry Spice
  • Garam Masala Spice
    • Chickpeas- 1 can (19 oz)
    • Crushed tomatoes- 1/2 cup
    •  Garnish with Cilantro leaves for an enhanced flavour

Method :

    Steps to make Channa Masala / Chickpea Curry
  1. Heat 3 – 4 tsp. of oil in a pan and add 3 tsp. of Ace Curries Channa Masala spice mix. Cook it for 30 seconds.
  2. Add 1/4 cup water and stir it for 1 minute till and make a paste.
  3. Add 1 can (19 oz) chickpeas and stir it well.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of water and salt to taste. Stir it well and serve as a side dish.
  5. Same recipe as above, just replace water with 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes or 3 fresh diced  ripe tomatoes and simmer till thick before serving.
  6. Garnish with  1 tsp GARAM MASALA & cilantro leaves before serving
